Warm a heart, give a coat

Help keep vulnerable people warm this winter by donating an unwanted coat.

For the second year running Rotarians in Lancashire are collecting your old, unwanted coats and giving them to charities that support the homeless, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence (to name a few).

Over 50s Group call out for fresh faces

An over 50s group in Blackburn with Darwen is on the lookout for new members.

The group, based at Greenfields Community Centre on Green Lane, Blackburn has been running for 17 years and offers a place for people aged 50 and above to meet new people and take part in various activities, including the occasional day trip.
