Eric Wright Ltd have been appointed as the new contractors for Blackburn Bus Station.
Councillor Phil Riley, Executive Member for Regeneration at Blackburn with Darwen Council, said:

A newly refurbished day care centre in Blackburn has officially re-opened.
The improvements to Hopwood Court in Audley have seen more group rooms, fully equipped disabled bathrooms, a training kitchen and a therapy room installed there.

Blackburn with Darwen’s 2014 public health annual report has been commended at a national level.
The report was handed third place in the Association of Directors of Public Health’s yearly annual report competition – with the organisers praising it for its innovation and use of digital media.
