Over the summer a monthly makers market will take place on Town Hall street.

Local independent shops, artists and street entertainers will congregate once a month to present an offering of homemade art, cakes, crafts, free activities and more!

Town Hall Street is one of Blackburn’s gems and has recently become a real haven for independent shops and cafes.

The fair will introduce people to the wonderful independent retailers that are there including No.11 which selects the best of craft and art from around Lancashire, Tilt framers and Rebound second hand book library and café.

The event will feature stalls by the region’s best artists, designers, and craft workers alongside street theatre, musicians, pavements cafes and creative workshops.

It is organised by Blackburn BID supported by Blackburn with Darwen Council.

The next fair takes place on Saturday, July 18, followed by Saturday, August 15 and Saturday, September 12.
