A group of Blackburn with Darwen shops have been caught selling e-cigarettes to children.
A total of five stores across the borough failed the checks in a test purchasing operation.

Older people in Darwen are to benefit from a major new housing with care development.
Plans for an extra care scheme with adjacent bungalows are being developed which will improve housing choices for older people who want to continue living independently, together with care and support services to help them to do so.

A new £2million housing development scheme has been unveiled in Little Harwood.
The 20-home development, around the Gretna Road area in Blackburn, replaces the former Brookside Nursing Home and derelict garage site.
