Islamophobia Awareness Month is taking place in November to showcase the positive contributions of Muslims in society as well as raise awareness of Islamophobia.

A new campaign for older people has been launched in Blackburn with Darwen.
Called Ageing Well, it aims to help older people – as we all have good times throughout our lives – but as we get older, we do face new challenges.

Two areas of Blackburn have seen new improvements following investment of section 106 monies.
Approved by the Council six months ago, local communities have this month taken delivery of new improvements that have been funded from larger local developments in both Shear Brow and Bastwell respectively.
