A special commemoration and a minute’s silence will be held by Blackburn with Darwen Council to mark a National Day of Reflection – remembering those who have sadly lost their lives during the coronavirus pandemic and to support everyone who has lost a loved one.

Minute’s silence for victims of the Paris terrorist attacks

The Union Flag will fly at half-mast outside Blackburn Town Hall and Darwen Town Hall  today (Monday 16 November 2015)

Council leader Mohammed Khan will lead a minute​’s silence on the Blackburn town hall steps at 11am as part of a Europe-wide mark of respect and solidarity, in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
