Following the Government’s clarification yesterday that it is not imposing local restrictions on Blackburn with Darwen – and this statement in response – Council leaders have today provided a further update with the latest advice and guidance on Covid-19.

As the country gears up for the next step of lockdown easing scheduled for Monday, May 17, Blackburn with Darwen Council bosses are urging people locally to keep on course and not get complacent.

Everyone in Blackburn with Darwen will be able to access free, regular, rapid coronavirus testing from this Friday, April 9th.
