The vote count has now finished at King George’s Hall for the 2023 Local Elections.
Dedicated teams counted ballots all morning from 9am and the count was completed just after 11am.

A by-election will take place for Blackburn with Darwen Council’s Higher Croft ward on Thursday, December 15 following the sad and untimely death of long serving councillor Michael Johnson.

Please note if you are already registered to vote in the upcoming local and PCC elections taking place on May 5th you do not need to re-register for the EU Referendum taking place on June 23rd.

Eleven political parties will contest the elections on Thursday 22 May to choose the North West of England’s eight Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
