Dozens of volunteers across our local communities were thanked for their contributions at last night’s Community Volunteer Awards.

Accrington Road community centre volunteers held a 10 year celebration event this weekend.
The event celebrated the successes achieved by the volunteers over 10 years and was held on the 11th of December.

As part of the national celebration of volunteers next week, Community and Volunteering Services (CVS) will be hosting a number of events throughout the week to encourage volunteering.
