Animation helps to promote new garden collection service in the borough

As well as helping residents in Blackburn and Darwen dispose of their garden waste, the scheme also helps protect the environment.

Roadworks to start in Blackburn

Cable replacement schemes will start in Blackburn from Monday, February 13.
Work to be carried out by Electricity North West (ENW) will take place at Garden Street, Downham Street, Addison Street, Preston New Road and along to Randal Street Sub Station.

Council installs new smokefree signs to protect children

Scam parking ticket warning

People are being warned about fraudulent parking charge notices which are being sent by email.
The British Parking Association (BPA) has put out the warning following fake email ticket scams claiming to be from some of its approved operators, UK Parking Control Ltd and CPS Enforcement (Northern) Ltd
The fake email tickets contain links to photos, payment options and to appeal.
