Minute’s silence for victims of the Paris terrorist attacks

The Union Flag will fly at half-mast outside Blackburn Town Hall and Darwen Town Hall  today (Monday 16 November 2015)

Council leader Mohammed Khan will lead a minute​’s silence on the Blackburn town hall steps at 11am as part of a Europe-wide mark of respect and solidarity, in remembrance of those who lost their lives.

A silence will also take place at Darwen Town Hall.

Members of the public who have been directly affected by the incidents in Paris, or who are concerned about family members and friends who may be directly affected have been advised to call the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on 020 7008 0000.
