A health event hosted by Blackburn with Darwen’s Health and Wellbeing Board last month saw over 100 people – including residents and health professionals – gather together to talk about health and wellbeing in the borough.
‘HealthTalk’ took place at Youth Zone on Tuesday, November 25 and featured a structured public engagement session for an invited group of around 80 Blackburn with Darwen residents to capture their views and experiences about health and wellbeing locally.
It was a chance for the residents to directly influence the borough’s health and wellbeing strategy by coming up with ideas to create and sustain health where they live.
The above short film outlines some of the discussions that took place on the day.
