A special golf day is being held to raise funds for the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen’s charity.
Organised by the Blackburn Chamber of Trade, it will take place at Blackburn Golf Club on Thursday, July 3, from 1pm to 3pm.
Teams should be three players, with Stableford Scoring and with a maximum handicap of 20. Entry is £100 per team.
Bacon sandwiches and tea and coffee will be served on arrival followed by a buffet after the tournament and a prize giving presentation will be held at 7.30pm.
All proceeds will go to the chosen charities of the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Alan Cottam. They are The East Lancashire Hospice and SSAFA – The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.
