This weekend, Saturday May 16th residents within Blackburn will be able to freely dispose of items of domestic bulky waste.
Fully staffed caged vehicles will be available for residents to dispose of bulky waste on: Hope Street, Blackburn, from 09:00 am – 10:00 am, at the junction of Wensley Rd and Rolleston Rd from 9.30am – 10:30 am, on St Georges Avenue between 10:45am and 11:45am and Heys Close from 11:15am till 12:15pm
Examples of the types of rubbish that can be disposed are carpets, broken furniture and general bagged rubbish, whilst items such as plasterboard and asbestos roofing will not be accepted.
