Blackburn with Darwen is doing more testing for Coronavirus than almost any other area in England but it’s more important than ever that more local people come forward.

In fact everyone in the borough is now being encouraged to get tested, you don’t need to have symptoms of coronavirus.

You can request a home kit to be posted out to you, or attend the borough’s mobile testing facility at Audley Sports Centre or the site at Old Bank Lane outside Royal Blackburn Hospital.

The Audley unit operates from 11am-6pm seven days a week.

To get tested you will just need to register beforehand online or call 119. It takes about 5 mins to do.

Once registered you will get a code. If attending one of the testing facilities, please take this with you so staff can attach it to your test.

Anyone driving to a test site is reminded to keep their car windows closed until the staff ask you to open them.

Parents and carers will be asked to administer to children under the age of 11.
