Blackburn Town Centre

  • 25th July to 31st August: Blackburn Beach & other rides, Town Hall Square, King William St. 10am -5pm
  • 27th July: Reveille: Each Simple Cross, Blackburn Central Library 1.45pm
  • 27th & 28th July: Hidden Treasures, 2 day summer art workshop, Blackburn Museum 9.30am – 3pm (£10 per child)
  • 27th & 28th July: Hackburn, make & mend, Blackburn is Open Shop 6pm
  • 28th July: Guided Tour, Blackburn Cathedral 2pm
  • 28th July – 1st August: Home, An Exhibition, Blackburn is Open Shop 11am -3pm
  • 29th July: The Mad Science Team, Blackburn Library 10.30 – 12.30pm
  • 29th July – 1st August: Get Crafty, Blackburn Museum 12 -4pm
  • 31st July: Blackburn Film Club- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Bureau 7pm
  • Until 5th August: All Around Us, a Landscape Exhibition, The Bureau,  Monday – Friday 11am  – 4.30pm
  • Until 5th Sept: Watercolours: The Great British Artists from the E L Hartley bequest. Exhibition, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery (Wed –Saturday 12 -4.45pm)

Darwen Town Centre

  • 28th July: DLT Film Society: Testament of Youth (12A), Darwen Library Theatre 2pm
  • 31st July: The Bond Now Are, Darwen Library Theatre 7.30pm
  • 1st August: 2nd Annual Darwen Food Festival, Darwen Market Square 10am -3pm
  • 1st August: Comedy@DLT, Darwen Library Theatre 8pm
  • Until 23rd August: Landscapes by Val PollockSunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays 1pm – 4.30pm
