Here’s our list of events in & around Blackburn & Darwen from Easter Monday, 28th March to Sunday, 3rd April 2016

Don’t Forget: The Big Easter Egg Hunt around Blackburn Town Centre will run until 4th April. Collect an entry form & clues from Blackburn Visitor Centre & find all the giant chocolate eggs. There are some great prizes to be won!

Blackburn Town Centre:

  • Get Creative Day on Saturday 2nd April at Blackburn Central Library, 11am to 2pm. Rag rugging, gardening and sketching, be entertained by drummers and dancers, ‘make and take’ craft session, ‘Living Book’ and listen to a life story shared on film.
  • Until 2nd April: 12-2-1 Exhibition, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, Wed –Saturday 12 – 4pm
  • Until 11th June: Stephen Pickles: A Retrospective, Art Exhibition, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, Wed –Saturday 12 – 4pm

  • 29th March: Treasures of Blackburn Museum, a talk by Stephen Irwin, at Darwen Library 2pm
  • 2nd April: YPS Fun Day, bouncy castle, climbing wall and face painting. Market Square, Darwen all day.
  • 2nd April: Comedy Club, Darwen Library Theatre 8pm
