Here’s our weekly list of events in & around Blackburn & Darwen from Monday 17th November to Sunday 23rd November 2014.
This week sees the start of our Town Centre Christmas activities, with Blackburn & Darwen Christmas Light Switch On events. A full list of who will be performing is available on www.visitblackburn.co.uk or contact Blackburn Visitor Centre. Jedwood will be turning on Blackburn’s lights, with the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles making an appearance. Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall will be lighting up Darwen.

20th Nov: Andy Fairweather & the Low Riders, Darwen Library Theatre, 7.30PM (SOLD OUT)
22nd Nov: 10 am Children will be decorating the bottom of the Darwen Christmas tree with Mickey Mouse and Santa both making an appearance!
22nd Nov: Darwen Christmas Lights Switch On from 4pm, & the annual Nativity Parade at 3pm
Until 5th Dec: WW1 drawings and art works by James H. Morton -Exhibition at Darwen Library
Until 7th Dec: A presentation of original paintings by amateur artists from the Farington Art Group. Sunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre. Open Thursday – Sunday 1pm– 4.30pm
