United Utilities has confirmed that BB1 2LD Roman Road is no longer affected by the water contamination which was identified last week.
This means people living in this area no longer need to boil their water.
There are minimal properties affected within the Blackburn with Darwen area. However those properties very close to the border with affected areas, i.e. South Ribble and Ribble Valley will need to continue to follow United Utilities advice and guidance via their postcode checker or by telephone.
Blackburn with Darwen Council issued information in support of United Utilities advice and guidance, which is constantly being updated.
