A fun and easy video has been produced to show voters how to cast their ballot in this year’s Police and Crime Commissioner elections.
On Thursday, May 5 the Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner elections take place. The way of voting in these elections is different: It’s called supplementary voting.
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council have worked with a local up-and-coming animator, Ryan Hammond, to produce an easy to follow guide to supplementary voting.
Feedback from a ‘sneak preview’ event held with local disability group Your Support Your choice was really positive, and the final product has been endorsed by the Electoral Commission, who will promote this alongside other material they have launched for these elections.
