Union Flag lowered today (June 17) outside Blackburn and Darwen Town Hall

Councillor Mohammed Khan, leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: “The Council has joined with others to lower the Union flag as people in our two towns pay their respects to MP Jo Cox.

“Our thoughts are with her family, as we share the pain of such a tragic and unnecessary loss of a person who dedicated her life to public service.”
