King Georges Hall has announced two familiar faces are set to appear on stage at the Blackburn venue early next year.
Pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, TV presenter and multiplatinum recording artist Jools Holland will be taking to the stage on Saturday, May 20.
The talented musician will be joined by his much loved Rhythm & Blues Orchestra as well as vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall along with former Squeeze drummer Gilson Lavis.
Audiences should expect an evening of toe tapping jazz and blues along with tracks spanning Jools’ solo career, and songs taken from his latest album Jools & Ruby.
And next February former boxer and national treasure Frank Bruno MBE will be hosting ‘An Evening with Frank Bruno’.
On Friday, February 17, Frank will re-live some of his greatest moments and talk about his personal highs and lows and his career as a professional boxer, which saw him achieve 21 consecutive wins by knockout.
In conversation with comedian Jed Stone, he will also reveal all about winning the World Championship, his ongoing battle with mental health, his views on the new current British boxers, as well as answering questions from the audience.
Tickets for ‘An Evening with Frank Bruno’ are £25 in advance, £28 on the door and VIP tickets £40.
Tickets for Jools Holland are £36 standard and £42 premium. Booking fees apply.
