Local author Simon McDermott will be talking about his book The Songaminute Man at Blackburn Library on June 20th
Simon will be talking about how he found a unique way for him and his father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013 to connect again by doing carpool karaoke.
Simon was made famous by posting up a video on YouTube of him and his father it went viral across the globe and raising over £150,000 to support the National Dementia Helpline and TalkingPoint
There’ll be Q&As and an opportunity to buy the CD and The Songaminute Man book.
The talk will kick off at 7.30pm, Wenesday, June 20th and tickets are free. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society are welcome on the night or you can donate now.
