The Good Neighbour Awards ceremony

Published February 12, 2018 at 12:47

A special award ceremony is being held this Thursday to celebrate people within the borough who make a real difference to the lives of those around them.

Now in its fifth year, over 150 people have been nominated. Blackburn with Darwen Council has teamed up with the Lancashire Telegraph to find for the people who go out of their way to help others or who just want to make their neighbourhoods better places to live.

Prizes on offer for this year’s awards include four family tickets to top national attractions; two tickets to Bill Bailey; a £150 Love 2 Shop voucher; a corporate meal for two at a Rovers home and Mall vouchers.

Good luck to all who have been nominated!
