Tell us what you think about recycling and waste in Blackburn and Darwen

We are keen to hear what you think about recycling and waste services in the borough. We want to know what you think we could be doing better.

A survey has gone out across social media to help us to understand more about waste and recycling in Blackburn with Darwen and the barriers that people face and we want to hear from everyone who lives and works here.

We know we have got to make major changes to improve our recycling rates as they have fallen over the past decade. This is due to a number of factors including the impact of austerity and the confusion around recycling, not just here but nationally.

The feedback you give will inform a new high profile campaign that will focus on increasing recycling rates across the borough.

New practical ideas and examples of good practice are very much encouraged so please do take time to feedback; every comment will be looked at and we will update you based on what you have told us.

It takes only a few minutes to complete the survey and you’ll automatically be entered into a prize draw for one of four £50 Mall vouchers or winners can choose Darwen Market or Blackburn Market vouchers. The winners will be drawn at random just in time for you to spend before Christmas.

Deadline is Sunday, December 1.
