“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll has been one of the fixed points in our nation’s life for seven decades.

Her service and devotion to duty have been an inspiration to so many across the commonwealth and the wider world.

Everything she did was underpinned by her Christian faith.

It is our privilege and honour to invite the County of Lancashire to a service of thanksgiving at Blackburn Cathedral and our prayers for her now are that she would rest in peace and rise in glory.”
