Blackburn with Darwen residents are being asked to share their views on life in the borough and give their opinions of Council services.
The Council’s residents’ survey can be completed online now, and takes less than ten minutes.
It offers local people an opportunity to help shape the Council’s priorities for the next five years as we refresh our Corporate Plan, the document that guides our work and activities across the borough.
Survey responses will provide a deeper understanding of opinions on a wide range of Council services, as well as how residents feel about their local neighbourhoods, and how well they feel the Council embraces new technologies.
Residents also have the chance to tell us what one thing in Blackburn with Darwen makes them feel the most pride.
In exchange for their insight, everyone who completes the online residents’ survey will be entered into a prize draw to win the first prize of £100 Mall shopping voucher, and one of two runner-up prizes of £25 Mall vouchers.
Councillor Andy Kay, Deputy Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, said:
“Our residents’ survey offers everyone who lives in Blackburn with Darwen a valuable opportunity to tell us what it’s like to live in the borough and use our services. Local people’s responses are vital to us as we begin to shape our plans for the next five years, and they will help to guide our decision making too.
“It doesn’t matter if you’ve only just moved to the area or you don’t use all of the services we ask questions about – what’s important is that we hear the views of as many households as possible so that we can do our best to make sure that the Council’s priorities match yours.”
Everyone in Blackburn with Darwen has until Wednesday 21 November 2018 to give their views via the residents’ survey. Click here to complete the survey now.
