Hundreds of people stopped by for a selfie in a special photo booth to raise awareness and learn more about fostering in the borough.
The booth travelled around the town, from The Mall to Blackburn College to BBC Radio Lancashire. People put on crazy hats, wigs and glasses and posed up a storm, all as part of Fostering Fortnight.

Blackburn with Darwen Council needs to recruit new foster carers to look after vulnerable children and young people, particularly older children and brothers and sisters who need to be looked after together.
There are many different types of fostering, from short-term placements and short breaks for families with children with disabilities to providing a long-term or even permanent home.
