People are being warned about fraudulent parking charge notices which are being sent by email.
The British Parking Association (BPA) has put out the warning following fake email ticket scams claiming to be from some of its approved operators, UK Parking Control Ltd and CPS Enforcement (Northern) Ltd
The fake email tickets contain links to photos, payment options and to appeal. These links may contain malware and should not be clicked.
Legitimate Parking Charge Notices are NOT sent by email and anyone who has received an email like this should delete it immediately and report it to the National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Service.
For more information please visit the BPA website.
