As part of a consultation on the future delivery of community libraries in Blackburn with Darwen, a further public meeting is being held at Livesey Library.
The budget for the library service has been reduced in line with many other services as a result of the Government cuts. The Council is exploring community interest in running and supporting Livesey Library, Mill Hill Library and Roman Road Library.
A series of public consultation meetings are being held to see if there is any interest from individuals or community groups. Following on from the initial consultation meeting held in January, a further public meeting has been arranged at Livesey Library for Wednesday, February 11 2015 between 6 and 7.30pm.
