Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is inviting residents to take part in an important piece of research to help shape future housing across the borough.

The study will provide essential evidence on the types and sizes of homes needed in the years ahead – including properties available to rent and buy – as well as the specific requirements of older residents and those with additional or specialised needs.

A selected sample of households has been invited to complete an online housing survey.

By sharing their experiences and views, residents will play a vital role in supporting the Council to develop new housing policies, strategies, and initiatives that reflect the needs of local communities.

Residents who wish to take part can visit the online survey using the link below:

Participants are asked to select the ward in which they live when starting the questionnaire. Anyone who doesn’t know the name of their ward can find it on the Council website by entering their postcode on the interactive Blackburn with Darwen electoral wards map

This research will help ensure that future homes in Blackburn with Darwen are well designed, accessible, and suitable for all residents.
