People of all ages who make a difference to their communities can be nominated for a Good Neighbours award.

There are lots of projects already happening across the borough which deserve recognition, and those who take part a pat on the back.

Youth volunteers from One Voice will once again look to do their bit and clean up Blackburn’s streets with events this year. Young people from One Voice’s WEGs, 2020 Vision group and 1V scouts will take to the streets in March. It follows a clean-up they did in November on Victoria Street and Whalley Range.

The young people managed to pick up 19 bags of litter. The next clean-up will take place on Sunday, March 6.
