A busy pantomime season across the borough saw attendances increase at both King Georges Hall and Darwen Library Theatre
The production of Snow White at King George’s Hall saw an increase in audiences of 10.6% on the 2013 production of Cinderella, and an increase of over 28% from 2012.
Darwen Library Theatre saw its production of Beauty and the Beast bring in the crowds, with a 3.8% increase on 2013, and a 16.5% increase since 2012
Cllr Damian Talbot, Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Young People said:
It is fantastic to see so many people attending the performances in both Blackburn and Darwen during pantomime season.
This really highlights what great entertainment venues we have within the borough.
