One month to go until National Festival of Making!

The free family festival will return to Blackburn for its fourth edition on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June.

Venues and spaces across Blackburn town centre are getting ready to host an array of events, performances and workshops that celebrate making.

Highlights include:

  • An incredible line-up of Family Friendly workshops, including Model Making with Aardman (the creators of Wallace & Gromit) and creating wearable posters with festival favourites Let’s Make Art! Whatever your curiosity, turn up and try something new.
  • Outdoor Theatre and Music performances for all to enjoy throughout the weekend.
  • Creativity meets technology with a wide range of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) workshops and activities exploring maker technologies.
  • Fancy a bite to eat? You won’t be able to resist the selection of delicious street food stalls.

Plus so much more!

Venues include Blackburn Library, Blackburn Museum, The Making Rooms, Cathedral Square, Blackburn Cathedral and loads more across the town.
