Millions of people across the UK make a difference to their community daily, by volunteering.
The annual Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS) shines a light on the fantastic work of voluntary groups and outstanding examples of this work are celebrated.
We want to celebrate those groups that are truly outstanding in our borough. Those who are making a big difference to their local community.
QAVS are the highest awards given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.
Nominations for the 2023 awards are now open until the 15 September 2022.
Deemed the MBE for groups, the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is announced every year in June.
Know of a fantastic volunteer group? If you feel they deserve recognition, then why not nominate them via the link below?
Groups cannot nominate themselves; they must be nominated by someone else.
