An open evening is being held at Lower Darwen Primary School on Thursday, November 12 to show off its brand new building.
A new classroom block has been built at the primary school on Milking Lane which has also undergone a full refurbishment. The reception area, staffroom, school hall, kitchen, IT suite, library and playground has also been transformed.
Members of the community, parents and prospective parents are invited to come along between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to meet the staff and pupils
To mark the opening of the new look school, a new prospectus has been launched.
Headteacher Steven Cumbo, said:
The pupils, staff and I are very proud of our brand new school. We would like to invite parents and the community to come and look around our fantastic new building on the open evening.
Lower Darwen Primary school has a lot to offer – great results which improve year on year, a warm welcoming atmosphere, a modern new building set in fantastic rural setting and committed staff and pupils who are proud of everything we achieve together.
