People in Blackburn and Darwen are invited to support a national one minute silence tomorrow 11am (Tuesday, June 6)

The flags at both Blackburn and Darwen Town Hall are flying at half-mast.

The leader of the Council, Councillor Mohammed Khan, the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Colin Rigby and other community leaders will signal the start of the minutes silence outside Blackburn Town Hall.  People can also observe the silence wherever is most convenient for them.

It follows the annual remembrance event which took place at Corporation Park yesterday (Sunday, June 4) which gave people the opportunity to reflect on the latest terror attack in London which has shocked and saddened the country.
