National minute silence – London Attacks

People gathered outside Blackburn Town Hall today (Tuesday, June 6) as part of a national minute silence following the London Bridge and Borough Market terror attack.

Speakers included the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Colin Rigby, the leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, Councillor Mohammed Khan,the Dean of Blackburn Cathedral,  The Very Reverend Peter Howell-Jones and the Secretary of Blackburn with Darwen Interfaith Forum, Derek Estill.

Among those who gathered were pupils from Blackburn Central High School and a team from Lancashire Police
