An app that makes it easier for residents to interact with their GP is now available across Blackburn with Darwen.
myGP app allows patients to register remotely and once signed up they can book and cancel appointments, set medication reminders and make use of a secure instant messaging service.
And if you’d like to use it, but don’t have the confidence or know where to start, we can help!

Councillor Brian Taylor, Assistant Executive Member for Health and Wellbeing and vice-chair of the Darwen Primary Care Neighbourhood, said:
This is an excellent tool for residents to use. The council is fully supportive of tapping into the potential of new technology to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents. The support sessions will enable people to learn from experts at their own pace. I hope as many people as possible come and take advantage.
