Move Festival comes to Witton Park

Move Festival is the unmissable family event of the summer – be a part of it at Witton County Park on the 21st of August.

The event is free and no booking is needed, so just turn up between 10am-3pm and enjoy the fun on the day.

With a range of activities including Xplorer trails, Climbing Walls and 80’s Aerobics nobody will be missed out as the Move Festival promises something for all age groups. So if you choose to get your energy levels up on the day or just maintain a steady step count, it’ll be a fun day for all.

Whilst you catch your breath, you can enjoy the live shows performed on the grand stage throughout the day, and watch others work up a sweat as you grab a refreshment.

The Mayor of Blackburn, Councillor Suleman Khonat, will be opening the event at 10am, so come early and enjoy five hours of festivities.

Visit the re:fresh Hub Gazebo, on the day of the event to scan the event QR Code to download the map and timetable. You can also pick up your free activity ball and activity card. Participate in as many activities as you can to take part in the prize draw!

Please remember to wear suitable clothing and trainers so that you can take part in the activity sessions on the day. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated!
