There is no better sense of relief as soon as you get checked
BwD Health Trainer for BwD, Damo, shared his story about finding a lump on his balls.
Damo said: “It’s healthy for men to regularly check their balls, and if you feel something isn’t right you should call the GP.
“Don’t be afraid to drop your kecks and get checked. There is no better sense of relief as soon as you get checked, and there’s a lot of support out there.”

BwD Wellbeing Service manager, Andrea, supported her dad through a prostate cancer diagnosis.
Andrea said: “Dad thought the problem went away but it came back and was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, he received treatment (radio therapy) and had a full recovery. The impact of being diagnosed with cancer took its toll on his physical and emotional health. It was crucial that the family and I were able to support him.”
