Residents in Blackburn with Darwen are invited to come along and get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this bank holiday weekend, subject to eligibility.
There is currently lots of availability at the Revidge Fold Church site, the site is only there till Saturday lunchtime so act now.
Appointments can be made to skip the queue or you can just turn up, walk-ins are welcome. Over 18s, subject to eligibility. If you are not sure, pop in and see them.
Going into the bank holiday weekend the site at Royal Blackburn Hospital has availability on Saturday and Sunday too.
The vaccine bus will also be at various locations during the rest of the week.
Again there’s no need to book just turn up and you’ll be out within 15 minutes.
The current vaccine criteria is:
Aged 30 and over
Aged 18 and over with any underlying health conditions
Aged 18 and over AND living, caring or working with anyone with underlying health conditions
Health and Social Care staff
Any carers – paid or unpaid. You will not be asked for proof as unpaid carers are eligible.
