The vote count has now finished at King George’s Hall for the 2023 Local Elections.
Dedicated teams counted ballots all morning from 9am and the count was completed just after 11am.
All the Council wards have now been declared by Returning Officer Denise Park and the overall turnout of voters was 27.4%.
The new political makeup of the Council is now: Labour – 39; Conservative – 12, Liberal Democrat – 0.
