Local community groups need your votes

Community groups across Blackburn and Darwen are appealing for people to vote for them to help win funding for their groups.

You can support your local causes and increase their chance of receiving funding by casting up to 10 votes for free by visiting: avivacommunityfund.co.uk

Blackburn with Darwen Council Leader, Cllr Mohammed Khan, said: “Awards like these are a great way of recognising the important role of strong and successful community groups. I hope people will help support these local organisations that do some much great work in our communities. The Council’s Your Call initiative relies on groups like these to support the Council in providing help and support in their own neighbourhoods.”

People can use up to 10 votes and can use these at any time during the voting period which ends on November 21.

Votes can be used to support as many projects as you like or used to support one project – it’s your choice.
