Max Taylor age 7 from Blackburn had the pleasure of naming the new Blackburn with Darwen library mascot Wordsworth.
Over 250 people sent their names in for a competition to name the dog and after a long decision Wordsworth was the right one for the collar.
Max won mini Wordsworth mascot, a certificate and a book token presented by Councillors Jane Oates and Zamir Khan
Look out for Wordsworth the dog who will be out and about and popping in at library events.
