Council leader Cllr Mohammed Khan said:
I am delighted the council and the Lancashire Telegraph have jointly launched this campaign. Public information about what steps you need to take to keep you, your family and our community safe is vital. Together we can beat this virus.
Dominic Harrison said:
As Director of Public Health, I welcome this campaign. The Council and its partners joining together with a trusted source of local news, the Lancashire Telegraph, is a positive step as up to date, correct, public information on how you can help get the virus under control and the support that is out there is very important.
We need a real community effort, where everyone is working with each other, to continue to get our infection rate down and get people vaccinated.
