The Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, Councillor Mohammed Khan CBE, has issued a statement on the recent violent events in Plymouth and around the world.
It really is heart breaking to process the recent devastating violent events in this country and also internationally.
The people of Plymouth are in shock and we stand in solidarity with them as they find ways to reflect and pay respects to the victims of the senseless gun attack.
It’s important that we all unite to condemn any act of violence and remain vigilant given that sadly there are too many people who choose hate over hope and peace and destroy lives.
