An exhibition of prints, paintings and drawings by Blackburn artist Will Rogers is being held in his home town.

His Out of Place exhibition at The Bureau Centre for the Arts, St John’s Church, Victoria Street, includes prints, paintings and drawings spanning the last decade. They emerged from initial drawings created in different places, including Ullswater in the Lake District.

Will trained at the Slade School of Fine Arts in London and The British School at Rome. The 68-year-old part-time auditor has had his work shown in group exhibitions, including the British Art Show and at Manchester’s Cornerhouse.

Out of Place is open from 2pm to 4.30pm tomorrow (Saturday, September 29), 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, and 11am to 4pm on October 3, 4 and 6.
