Hive is Five: Blackburn business network to celebrate milestone

A Blackburn and Darwen-based business leaders network is about to mark a special anniversary – and wants you to help celebrate.

The next Hive Ambassadors Network meeting, taking place from 11.30am on Tuesday April 25 at Ewood Park’s Red Rose Suite, will be a celebration of the group’s successes over the last half-decade. It is free to attend and open to non-members.

There will be speakers from Hive, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and students from Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, as well as the usual networking opportunities. Lunch by Northcote at the Rovers is also provided.

Star Tissue director and Hive Chairman, Khalid Saifullah said:

We wanted to celebrate Hive’s five-year anniversary with a special event to mark all we have achieved over the last few years, as well as our plans for the future.

There have certainly been a lot of big changes in the borough over the last half-decade and through our business leaders network we have played our own role in this.

Whilst we want to celebrate what we have achieved, we also want to look to the future and I would encourage anyone interested in networking with other businesses and helping shape the future of the borough to come along and find out more.
