Come along to Blackburn Library on Wednesday 19 February for a special half term treat.  The library will be hosting two performances of The Storytellers Theatre Company ‘The Wind in the Willows’ at 11am–12.15pm and then again at 2pm–3.15 pm.

Kenneth Grahame’s wonderful tale is brought to life in glorious technicolour.  This delightful musical adaptation follows Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger in their entrancing tale of life on the river bank and in the wild wood. From Ratty’s picnic with mole, to the troublesome Mr Toad and his love for driving motorcars, this production is sure to captivate and entertain. Why does Toad get locked in prison? How does he escape? And what of Chief Weasel? Does Toad ever return to Toad Hall or is he destined to a life without his country home? To answer all these questions and more, come along to Blackburn Library and watch this fantastic performance.

Tickets cost just £1 for children and £3 for adults and can be booked at the desk in Blackburn Library. For more information, please ring 01254 661221 or email library@blackburn.gov.uk
